Mansion Over The Hilltop

G C G i’m satisfied with just a cottage below G D G a little silver , and a little gold G C G but in that city , where the ransomed will shine G D G i want a gold one , that’s silver lined C G i’ve got a mansion just over the hilltop D G in that bright land where we’ll never grow old C G and someday yonder , we’ll never more wander D G but walk on streets that are purest gold G C G though often tempted , tormented and tempted G D G and like the prophet , my pillow a stone G C G and though i find here , no permanent dwelling G D G i know he’ll give me a mansion my own G C G don’t think me poor or , deserted or lonely G D G i’m not discouraged , i’m heaven bound G C G i’m just a pilgrim in search of that city G D G i want a mansion , a harp , and a crown
